I ordered this DVD for my sons birthday back in mid July. When it came it would not play in the DVD player. I emailed, the original response I got was to see if it played in the computer. I didn't purchase it to play on the computer, I purchased it for the DVD player. I was told I could ship it back for a refund. I asked about a shipping label and a replacement, and was told a replacement would be mailed to be by July 31st. Still no replacement! And when I email, I get no response. Very disappointed! My son is still waiting to see the Lion King for his birthday!

it was lovely to see this classic once again, and the video/sound quality are very good! I prefer the original version with the sligltly faded colours as they seem more real... you feel like you're looking at a piece of history...and you are!

"Monsters,Inc" is one of PIXAR's cleverest creations. It's about the Cyclopean Mike (Billy Crystal) and the shaggy Sully (John Goodman) whose career is to make children scream, keeping Monsteropolis powered. They collect children's screams. However,their city is having an "energy crisis" since children aren't as easily scared. Sully has been employee of the month--but the jealous salamander Randall (Steve Buscemi) will do anything to get ahead. Then,a little girl named Boo scares Monsterpolis... On the way, Sully develops paternal feelings for Boo,and it's learned that the monsters fear children.

Early on in Walt Disney's career, he had wanted to tell the story of Alice in Wonderland. As early as 1923 he had begun a series of short films, which featured a young girl in the role of Alice and integrated her live-action performance with animation. So it's no surprise that he wished to make a full-length film based upon Lewis Carroll's classic stories. What is a surprise is that, in 1951 when the film was finally released, Walt Disney was extremely disappointed. Sleeping Beauty was a childhood favorite of mine and still is! I just love this fairytale classic. I used to watch this film over and over again, I wore out my VHS copy many years ago and can't wait for this to be released in the fall. I highly recommend this gorgeous fable, enjoy future and past generations!!

Nightmare before Christmas is sooo fantastic. It should have one so many awards. Elfman is amazing. He wrote the score and does Jack's voice. The story is creative, visually it is stunning , and the score is timeless.
We love this movie in our house. I don't think Elfman has received his due recognition for this film.

I ordered this DVD from Netflix and we played it twice. All in family concluded that they didn't want to watch it again. This is from a 2 1/2 year old girl, a 4 1/2 year boy and a 10 year old girl. My girls love many of the songs we play from YouTube, like "Part of Your World", but the evil enchantress and the sharks that "kill" make it all too scary for them. My kids have 100's of DVDs, and preferred titles are: Angelina Ballerina, Ratatouille, Cars, Baby Enstein box set, Teletubbies, Rescue Hero, Alphabet Train, Dora the Explorer, Bob the Builder, Maisy, Kipper, Mickey Mouse (not all the old ones though), Winnie the Pooh Friendship series DVDs, Heffalump Movie, and Wiggles Big Red Car to name the favorites.
