In the same mold as 'Born Free', this documentary style film, to me, is much better. It's about a 3rd generation London Zoo lion named 'Christian', that acts like a human...and his eventual introduction into a life with wild lions in Africa. Much of the film centers around George Adamson, and how he forms a pride of lions out of rehabilitated, orphan cubs. Which is just amazing.
Never have i seen such love displayed by "ferocious beasts". 'Christian' is a cat like no other. He will surely touch your heart.
We found it on a $1 DVD, at Family Dollar. It's a double feature disc with another family film ('Lil'Scratch'), on the opposite side, about an orphaned bear cub. The transfer quality isn't that good, but the story makes up for ... Read More:

Lion King is a story that can be seen from many good perspectives. It can also be alleged that it is not suitable for children, because of the violent scenes it contains. However, most of its content deals with the example of Mufaza to his son, example which lingers in his memory. That alone is enough reason to rate the movie as excellent. Besides, with a good review from the parents, this movie can leave much good in younger hearts about the realities of life. One of these is the sacrifice it involves to carry on anything that is of good report. All minds need direction, especially those of children. My advice is that parents, as they view certain scenes with their children, should make appropriate comments, so as to highlight the good in them. ... Read More:

Wonderful performances by Michael Kitchen and Joan Plowright but Josie Lawrence steals the show. I watch this whenever I'm blue and am so happy to own it. It's an intelligent, believable adult fairy tale. The camera work is beyond excellent and the music is superb even as it is unobtrusive. Best of all, it's the opposite of Hollywood. That means no cookie cutter beauties, no slick easy answers, no pasting over awkward moments by incompetent writers with tired pop tunes. This is the real deal folks: a work of art (with humor).

Alice in Wonderland is renowned for it's odd and satirical nature, while still appealing to kids who are highly entertained by the disappearing Cheshire cat, the wackiness of the Mad Hatter, and the wrath of the Queen of Hearts. The songs are cute and Disney-esque, and Alice's adventures inspire all of the many imaginative people out in the world.

This is the original workout that will give you results, all others are followers. I remember when this was sold on vinyl or album, text book and VHS. I remember going to exercise class when our instructor would plug in the record player and play the album format. This is the best workout to date. I got results back when it was introduced in 1982 and now that I finally found a copy (unfortunately it is not sold on DVD) and started using it again I have achieved the same results. I would recommend this tape to anyone who does not like working out on machines all day or evening at the gym. If you do the advance workout at least 3 to 4 times a week along with low impact aerobic exercise you can achieve the results of a nice lean sculpted body along with good eating habits. ... I bought this first set of tae-bo when it just came out in 2000, one of my friends who was practicing martial arts recommended it. I was fairely active and athletic, but after my first pregnancy it was so hard to get back in shape. I was struggling for a few years, trying walking, jogging, gym, classes, everything with minor results. And then I started doing tae-bo. It was not easy, but after a month or so of doing basic I switched to advanced. My body had never looked better, I never felt better about myself! I was simply addicted to this workout! I never received so many compliments in my entire life! I should say, at about the same time I started doing yoga 2-3 times a week. It was a great work out balance. This version of Snow White is vibrant and beautiful - the movie has never looked better.

Like most Disney DVDs that come and go in their releases it can be sometimes hard to find, so make sure to get the DVD when you can.
