Shadow Watcher
Nobody Drowns in Mineral Lake
It still baffles me that this superb drama was not even nominated for a Best Picture Oscar the year it was released (1996) because, in my opinion, it was one of the finest films of that decade.
Arthur Miller originally wrote his play, THE CRUCIBLE, to serve as an analogy for the House Unamerican Activities witchhunt that was then going on in this country. People may not have been condemned to hang back then, but lives and careers were being destroyed, often on the whims of the investigators and witnesses.
The setting for the play and the film, adapted for the screen by Miller, is 17th century Salem, Massachusetts, where 19 people were actually hanged because ... Read More:

I am a long time fan and I love winnie the pooh. To me all the characters are great. I love all of them. I loved the series The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh and I wish it would come out in DVD seasons.
This is a great movie. Its for the whole family, both children and adults. The stories are very funny and extremely entertaining. I highly suggest getting this great movie on DVD. Its worth every singel penny!
Buy this great DVD and enjoy it over and over again!

What a work of art! This is one of the best movies of all time. When the spinster missionary woman (Hepburn) must TOLERATE Mr. Arnaut (Bogart)
in their life-threatening trip down the river in a beat-up old boat, The African Queen, the fun begins. She can drum up no respect for this man--until she realizes that he is an intelligent person who may be able to save their lives by his cool wit. He good naturedly sloughs off her constant criticism, while she endures his slovenly ways and colorful language. At some point they start developing a strong like for each other. When Bogie finally shaves, well you know romantic sparks are about to fly. Movies or stories do not come any better than this.

Why does it seem that studios never release the movies that made the Eighties so over the top! Nudity, Risky Plot lines (weak but risque)and of course Diane Lane hot out of "Streets Of Fire." This movie was one of those many films on cable constantly especially CINEMAX. The good old (Wink) innocence days. I would love to have this one for the collection if it kindly released from the vaults!

One of the best exercise videos ever - now priced right. When I originally purchased it, it was $24.99. This video, along with The Firm's "Body Sculpting" with Susan Harris will get your metabolism going. I did both of these tapes without much dieting and still loss weight.

I saw this black & white movie Canterville Ghost(1944) years ago. The cowardly ghost was funny. I was excited to find it on Amazon. The ghost tries to scare the guest instead they scare the cowardly ghost. Once again I enjoyed watching it but it wasn't as funny as I remembered. I also purchased the newer version in color of Canterville Ghost(1986)staring John Gielgud, Ted Wass, Andrea Marcovicci, and Alyssa Milano. This Canterville ghost wants the new owners out and is very mischief. We enjoyed both movies.

It seeems like the focus of this video is not as much learning what the different ways of making power are but how they work. The reason I still remember this video after 4 years when I lost it, is because its actually very entertaining. They teach you in a way that basically seems fun to think about the kinds of power. This may just be my opinion because I'm kind of a science guy and I always like to know how they work, not just what they are. It seems like they taught it from a good view of the science.

This special edition of the timeless movie classic includes 17-minutes of extra footage including Ray Bolger's scarecrow dance and the rehearsal and soundtrack from the jitterbug dance both which were edited out of the film. Plus, Buddy Ebsen performing "If I Only Had a Heart," Judy Garland receiving her Oscar, the original theatrical promotional trailer and a 32-page souvenir booklet.

This amiable modern Western benefits enormously from the casting of the great genre veterans Henry Fonda and Glenn Ford as two veteran cowboys ,forever on the verge of abandoning their nomadic lifestyle and settling down ,but never quite making it.The movie revolves around their attempts to tame an especially recalitrant bronco named Ol Fooler-who it is suggested is a little like the two men in being stubborn ,hard to tame and determined to go his own way but likeable and who eventually will be coerced back into the mainstream
There is not a tightly constructed plot as such ,more a series of incidents heavy on the humour which -be aware ,is often slightly risque (there is a shot of bare bottoms for example which may bother the more prudish ).
