Spore is the first video I have ever been interested in buying. I read the reviews on that DRM thing and did some research. I have decided not to buy the game at this time.

Well coming from someone who like to play single player RPG games such as Final Fantasy, Shadow Hearts, Jade Empire, Knight of the Old Republic, Xeno Gears, and a few others I never though I would like the whole MMORPG. That was until I tired out WOW.

I got the battle chest set back in may of this year. It took me a bit to get the feel of the game and how it plays. But now that I have I really enjoy it. The one thing I found out is that it's best to play different races and classes. It keeps the game from getting old. Spore Creature Creator

My 10-year-old received Spore for her birthday and became instantly hooked. It allows her to use her creativity, as well as indulge her love of science. She had no problem learning how to use the software and was able to start making creatures right away.

I got the game but soon found out it gave no further time on my WOW account, which i had expected it to do, and therefore i could not play it until i had purchased time online. Otherwise, this game is great with tons of fun and diversity to be had. Never is there nothing to do!

I did the 10 day free trial just recently and I have played about 3 days. The game is very repetitive. I played 3 different races and each of their quests was pretty much the same: go kill so many of these monsters, go retrieve this item, collect so many of these items, collect so many things by killing these creatures. I saw quiet a few 70th level characters just standing around. I will probally take it off my computer in a few days. I like my Rpg time sinks with more of a plot. The graphics are really cool though. If you want a good storyline try scrolls of morrowind III or dragonquest 8. Single person games. If you like running around and killing things play Diablo 2 or the doom or quake series. The Sims 2 (Mac)

Sims is a very fun and addicting game that offers unlimited game play hours. I heartily recommend getting this game and it's expansions. If you liked the first Sims or any free form open game play games, then this is for you. Also this game has a very active custom content creation community (Quadruple C's) so you can constantly change your game play and even make things of your own if your good enough.

This is not just another war simulator. I've played this game for several years, and it just gets better. The campaign has a decent story line and the levels themselves are really cool. The online play is why most people buy this game, because all of the races are equal and fair in competition, the units are really cool, and the tech tree is complex enough to give you some versatility. Not to mention that the game comes with an extremely comprehensive map editor so you can literally make your own melee maps from scratch, or your own scenario maps.
The only downside this game has is its crashes on Mac. I run it on XP and Mac and the XP works great, but you will likely have to find one or two patches online to run the Mac version properly. Otherwise, one of the best ... Read More:

This game can be called a beneficial game to play . Meaning in that it helps with people of all ages with developing problem solving and cognitive thinking;as well as being a fun game with great graphics as well. I have tried this before so I know what I was getting into and pretty much so have gotten pretty good at it.. I have played various puzzle games in the past. Dr Mario, Tetris. various online ones at pogo.com and such. I find this one to be the most interesting as it offers alotta variety and skill levels . From very simple to quite trying and complex . This game would be great too for children for helping develop those problem solving skills they will need later in life as well.
