I've played all versions of Gran Turismo and have very much enjoyed the improvements as the new versions came out. I miss being able to upgrade and customise each rides, What I also miss are the CARS! where are all the Toyotas? cars from the 80s and the 90s???????

This game is amazingly fun and addictive. I'm disappointed only in myself for not having picked it up sooner. I didn't play enough of the demo to really understand how awesome it is.
For those of you who like building your own rides and customizations, this isn't that type of game. You win cars through races and running others off the road, and you might get a paint job you like by running through a paint shop. That's it.
Highlights, since most people covered aspects of the game ...
Online is great. What I didn't like about GT5:P was that the online play was choppy. Here, it's smooth and quick. Hardly any waiting at all. The worst thing is that you might get dropped into a map where you're on one side ... Read More:

While this is a great addition to the franchise, it is not as long or in depth as the PC/mac versions that have been out previously. It is a great way to sink 4 hours. While, I'm not regretting buying this title, I don't think I'll be playing it again in the near future. I'll still be playing CIV IV for the added depth and larger worlds. Great as an intro to the series if you have never played before.

You've already read other people's reviews and they are generally spot-on. However, they don't make it obvious that you can't have a friend over and play one-on-one. WTF? This is a COLOSSAL downgrade in my opinion. I can only play with people online or find a friend and drag him over and set him up on LAN play with his dedicated PS3/TV.

This game is beautiful and easy to control. The graphics, effects, and crashes are all incredible. The variety of vehicles, and especially, the way the different vehicles force you to tackle the tracks in a new way each time is really clever. The small cars and bikes can't hold their own on the low track because the realistic mud and giant trucks, so you have to stick to the high road to master the race. The boosts are really fun, and the out of control collisions that happen when you get to greedy with the boost is sweet. There is a pretty steep learning curve to get the hang of steering, boosts, and how to use each vehicle.
The online works well, but there are only 8 total tracks, and everything is a race: no other modes. Most disappointingly, there's ... Read More:

Great game experience. The programme has several levels of complexity and realism, for the novice to the experienced demanding player. Includes driving in different weather conditions making it a demanding and fun game. Much better than the famous Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. Formula One team has been working to clearly improve the game, whereas Gran Turismo team has paid much more attention to graphics than to making their game more realistic and less predictable. I am glad I bought Formula One for my sons and myself. I could not say exactly the same for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, although it is a nice game too, but rather predictable and thus boring for the experienced player.

Not a great game, and I like WWII games. Needs more freedom to fly on your own. Game ends if you don't stay on the mission. Borring!!

Warhawk is a game which some will remember from the original Playstation console. It has been brought back with the soul ability for online play and enjoyment. With a maximum player number of 32, Warhawk gives us a genuine chaotic war feel that makes this game fast paced and just a hell of a lot of fun.
There are a number of different games that you can play against online opponents including Team Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Zones and a few others. Two new gameplay modes called Collection and Hero have been added with the new 1.4 expansion pack. A new map was also added with the pack, which give a further extension of the game, thus enhancing the enjoyment. Vehicles include Jets, Tanks and 4x4 Cars with a gun turret. There is also a hover type flying craft which allows ... Read More:

As far as gameplay, this game delivers on several platforms really pushing the player to their arcade racing abilities. this could have been the best Need For Speed ever but there are several aspects that started to annoy me. the first thing is that when you actually do finish the game, even 100%, you do not get the then named Audi LeMans Quattro (R8), you don't even get to choose any prizes from the "boss" at the end like everyone else! there are also cars and objects that you HAVE to play online games to get! one of my main arguements against this game is that once a race is over the prize money DRAMATICALLY reduces! this makes it next to impossible to buy a new car....actually it just takes FOR-EV-ER! this game has next to no replay value whatsoever. as much fun as this game is once you ...
