Being that I'm not a serious gamer, take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Xbox is fun. It's usually one of the systems that someone's friend has and when you go over for dinner you wind up playing some racing/shooting/music game. Then you go home thinking "Gee wouldn't that be nice to have?"
Yep, it is. Because now we're the friends with the system.
The smaller hard drive works just fine for us as we are extremely casual gamers that mostly use the device for RockBand, the Simpsons, and racing.
It's fun as all heck to rock out to RockBand (by far the most addictive game I've played).
Overall, worth the purchase price if what you're looking for is all of the mentioned above.

I'm a long time Civver, so I've played Civ on the PC for quite a few years. I knew that the game would have to be streamlined when I heard that it was coming to the console, and I was curious, and perhaps concerned as to how that would affect the game overall. I needn't have worried. The move to a version of Civ for consoles is worthwhile, and will no doubt bring a lot of new Civvers into the fold. From what I've heard the initial run of CivRev has sold out, so what does that tell you?
Anyways, from a long time Civ player and new console player, I can say that CivRev is an awesome game, and very fun to play, even for my kids who, before now, would never touch a game like this. For that reason alone the game is worthwhile.

i gotta say this game lived up to its expectations for me. great graphics grat multiplayer. but i got 2 things to say first i would only buy this game if i had live because its pretty boring just going around in the story over and over but multiplayer is the cherry on top it just makes the game great. second some issues in multiplayer such as only squad talk, you cant really run up hills and if you target a leaf in a bush by accidently it will target the bush and not the target behind it(talking about the mortar stike gadget).

I live in a 2 floor house, but the xbox wireless adapter cannot connect properly with the xbox on the first floor and Telus modem on the second floor. I had to bring the modem to the first floor. The xbox is about 30 feet from the modem, and it still occasionally gets disconnected for a few seconds.
In contrast my laptop can connect to the internet anywhere in the house.

I had high hopes of this game going into and at first glance it would seem as though it was going to be a lot of fun. However, from the moment I engaged in combat I realized that this was not going to be a fun game. They used a similar system previous implemented in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, which was that normal attacks on enemies don't do anything, they are all blocked/deflected. You are required to use a special ability or parry type counter to defeat an enemy. This gets somewhat annoying fairly quickly and make the combat system extremely unexciting. In addition to that, there is nothing 'fun' about the kill in this game. As I said this style is very much like Prince of Persia, though in PoP, there was a very creative a visually satisfying way to defeat enemies. ... Read More:

This is a game in need of something.. from the very first fire fight it's impossible to miss that all enemies fight in the exact same manner. They shoot, take cover, then finally lean out from their cover to shoot a few more times then duck back again until their demise. They rarely move from their cover and repeatedly you must make the frag in the same manner - over & over popping them while partially hid. It's a extremely nice looking game but because of the lack of enemy AI it quickly feels like assembly line work. Your main hero has a variety of weapons that keeps it interesting for a while but after 3-4 hours of play I find little compelling me to finish it or even play again.

Ok,When I first even thought about ordering this product,I was a bit skeptical. After I ordered it via USPS 2 Day Shipping,I had received it early on the second day as they had stated. The Xbox 360 Elite is worth every single penny. The graphics are absolutely phenomenal and I haven't even purchased my 1080p HD television yet.The only thing that I don't like is the fact that if you wish to play Xbox live and go online, you must pay $49.99 a year for it and also either buy one of the following.....Xbox 360 Wireless adapter for $99.99,a long ethernet extension cord,or if you are fortunate enough to have the ethernet box in your room by your 360 you will only need the 49.99 Xbox Live 12+1 Month card or any other amount of membership starting at 1 month.Overall The Xbox 360 Elite is an absolutely ...
