Spore is the first video I have ever been interested in buying. I read the reviews on that DRM thing and did some research. I have decided not to buy the game at this time.

My 10-year-old received Spore for her birthday and became instantly hooked. It allows her to use her creativity, as well as indulge her love of science. She had no problem learning how to use the software and was able to start making creatures right away.

Sims is a very fun and addicting game that offers unlimited game play hours. I heartily recommend getting this game and it's expansions. If you liked the first Sims or any free form open game play games, then this is for you. Also this game has a very active custom content creation community (Quadruple C's) so you can constantly change your game play and even make things of your own if your good enough.

Starcraft is one of the best RTSs ever. Still one of the highest played online games, even though it has been out for more than a decade. Well worth it.

As other reviews have mentioned, this definitely isn't a game. I purchased it to practice before beginning flight school. There are some "game"-like features, such as a combat mode, but they comprise a very small portion of the sim. As far as realism, this game seems to encompass just about everything. I will sum up this review by listing a few pros and cons.

Cons:
From ground-level, the ground around you (apart from the runway) seems blurry. This, of course, is because it is to be viewed from a distance, but it would have been nice if they added a transition effect so that you can appreciate the sim's graphical capabilities from any altitude.

With the University expansion pack, our old friend, Sims 2, goes to an all new, strange place: college.

There's a lot of new stuff added to the game with this pack. Heck, it's practically a game all on its own! You get a new life-stage for your Sims (young-adult), new aspirations (including ones like "First Woo-Hoo!"), eleven majors your Sim can pick from, fraternities, dorms, campus hang-out spots, places where you can work part time, all new gizmos and doo-dads, etc, etc!

Best of all, when you graduate and your Sim enters the working world, they will almost certainly be hired at the fourth or fifth level of their career! Plus you'll already have a great many skills (especially if you raised your Sim from an infant), and friends, ... Read More:

This is my favorite game -- nothing like telling a bunch of people what to do instead of having everyone else telling ME what to do. ;-) My favorite Sims game is on Gamecube, but there is so much more to having this on my computer. I like the pets and the vacations. I like the ease of movement on the computer.

Hey so here's the deal: It sounds pretty awesome. But I found that the car thing isn't really all it's cracked up to be. I mean, sure it's cool to see a car in their driveway, Heck it's cool to have a driveway! But really, I don't end up using the cars that much, and beyond that it's the same as taking a taxi!
Turn ons and Turn offs are great, but they're in every expansion pack... The new clothes and hairstyles are awesome, so that I'm grateful for, and the new interactions are also cool! However, unless you're into the whole dating thing enough to want to always do it, Nightlife isn't all that. I enjoy it and appreciate some of the little things, but overall, only a four out of five.

I waited forever for this game! I'm sorry to say it is a little slow on my computer but it's worth it. The effects are great, in winter it snows, and your sim children sometimes get snowdays, and are allowed to stay home or catch up on homework. A great way to do this is to get the weather machine in the rewards objects and have your sim create a snow storm. Another cool object is the juicer. using the different produce your sims grow in their new green houses, you can make juices that give your sims skill points or boost their energy.

Hint: If you use the cheat "boolprop testingcheats enabled" you can right click or control click on your plants and make them grow full ripe produce in seconds, which incredibly helpful seeing that they take forever ... Read More:

The Sims 2 Bon Voyage

The Sims 2 Bon Voyage is a great addition to The Sims 2 franchise, but whether you should buy it or not really depends on what you want added to the game. I had been a little disappointed with the last few expansion packs, due to an over abundance of certain things, and not enough of others. For instance, Bon Voyage is obviously about travel, and adds tons of new things to do with your sims outside of their own lot, which might not be ideal for someone with a slower computer, like me, that does not handle leaving the lot very well. However, Bon Voyage is also filled with a good amount of new building items, wallpapers, floors, objects, clothes, and even some new hairstyles.
