I really enjoy this game.... things move along kind of fast so it definitely isn't like the PC games that can draw out for weeks at a time, but it isn't so fast that you're done in a few hours (at least not at the higher difficulties). Not sure where the 4 hours of play limit came from as I have played several games straight through on the weekend that lasted 7 to 8 hours (I did take a few 10 minute brakes here and there but most of it was play time). I've only had the game end on me once without fulfilling the requirements for one of the victories and that was b/c I was intentionally drawing it out.

Lives up to the Civilization standard! It's a great game and I guarantee you'll love your first victory in world domination - with whatever path you choose. Unlike previous Civilizations for the PC this one goes along with a faster pace and less customizations (basically no pre-game customizations); however, the multiplayer is far more engaging and easily accessible. This is a game you want in your collection, especially if you haven't played a Sid Meier game.

I have been playing civilization since it started and civilization IV is great but i have a hard time with the fact that knights are beating my marines,or archers beating my infantry or calvary's very unrealistic.the new world wonders are great,I wish they would have Cultural wonders Big Ben for the english,etc and corporate wonders such as empire state building,transamerica etc.otherwise its close.I also hope to see The leaders change I mean queen Victoria lasting until the end of the game i wish i could live that long.they should have leaders die and have new kings,queens, emperor become elected.They also should add the Austrians,and Canadians some important civilizations have not been added to the game yet.Otherwise Civilization IV has improved,and ... How's this for a story? A man becomes annoyed with the current world, a world where the great are taken for granted and told that their toils are either for the people, for God or for the government. In response, he creates a fantastic environment, free from all of these turmoils. A place where all the great men and women of the world can create their own inventions without fear of consequence. In this place, men and women could do what they wanted.

If this sounds like Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, you'd be correct. However, in this particular case, it's also the background story behind Rapture, the under-water city that takes centerplace in Bioshock. Great strategy game, endless possibilies and play time. Since the game has been out for awhile, you can't beat the price.

I've really been enjoying playing Civ Revolution on my DS. The best part is that it's Civ that I can play while on the train to work everyday. A turn-based game is great when you're standing on a train getting bumped by people getting on and off every couple minutes. I miss some of the great epic games from other Civ games, but playing for about 1 hour a day during my commute I finish a full game in a few days, which is nice. The pace of the game is really good.

It's definitely simplified gameplay and the graphics are mostly simple and utilitarian. The animated battles on the top screen are kinda cool.

Overall this game was a huge disappointment! The graphics were poor and the game was boring. I wanted to sell this game after playing it just a couple of times. I'll think twice befor purchasing a new game without checking out the reviews.

MLB Power Pros

i did buy the older version by mistake and that may be the reason i didn't like the game as much. the teams were a year behind, makes it kinda confusing.....this is a great kids game. some friends brought their kids over the other day while they visited and the kids had an absolute blast with it.....it helped that they were all boys, who liked baseball, but they loved it none-the-less.....a simplified version of baseball with cartoonish characters that incredibly resembled their namesakes! it is a cute game and please don't take my score too literally. i was ranking it as how much fun "I" had with it. i am use to the mlb games and this kinda took me by surprise. you can make it as hard as you want by increasing the difficulty but at the end of the day, you are still fooling around ... Sid Meier's Civilization IV

I bought this game a few years ago and instantly loved it. I can play this game for hours on end while neglecting homework, :). The only two complaints I have for the game is that the graphics can be choppy and slow if you are running with minimal system requirments and some of the leaders faces show up as just a pair of eyes and teeth instead of a full face. If you have more than the minimal system requirments you will be fine. The only other complaint I have is that it allows you to build the Great Pyramids in England or Notre Dame in New York. I think it would be funner if the game were more accurate.
