This game can be called a beneficial game to play . Meaning in that it helps with people of all ages with developing problem solving and cognitive thinking;as well as being a fun game with great graphics as well. I have tried this before so I know what I was getting into and pretty much so have gotten pretty good at it.. I have played various puzzle games in the past. Dr Mario, Tetris. various online ones at pogo.com and such. I find this one to be the most interesting as it offers alotta variety and skill levels . From very simple to quite trying and complex . Zoombinis Logical Journey

My five year old grandson and I have had a wonderful time playing with this game. We learned a lot about logic, and we learned that we have different learning styles.

The 2005 version which I got from Amazon (see separate listing) has a Mac OS X installer which installed this game flawlessly in less than a minute. I have no experience with the 2001 version.

Diablo Battle Chest

I bought this to play on a Macbook pro. I have enjoyed this game on PCs in the past. Recent updates to MacOSX (written Sep. 2008) have made the game immediately quit on launch. There does not appear to be an off the shelf fix from either Blizzard or Apple.

This is a great game though.

If you're even remotely interested in Flight Simulators, this is a great piece of equipment to own! It adds so much towards feeling like you're really flying!! Far better than using a joystick or (heaven forbid) trying to fly using the keyboard or mouse!

Well worth the price!

Myst 10th Anniversary DVD Edition

I read the low stars for this as saying MYST and Riven have errors, and won't run well on XP. I bought this, played them, and had 0 problems. Everything was beautiful, and the stress of popping in and out multiple CDs was a blessing.

This never gave my DVD-Rom problems at now, no problems from XP, no problems from Quick Time, nothing!

Then I have to say they are packaged nicely, and the making of videos are very nice. I just wish they could have included a poster or something to honor it, but you know what I love it.

I don't know about all of you who got errors on XP, but I give this 5 stars, no questions asked.

StarCraft Battle Chest

I remember when Starcraft first came out originally. I was thrilled to play each scenario and finally, after many hours of play, I conquered the final level of each race. I replayed the game so much I ruined the original disk and couldn't reinstall after a computer crash. It's been a few years and true, the animation is a little old school but I found to my delight after purchasing the Starcraft Battle Chest that as soon as I started to play it, the enjoyment began once more. I'd have to say that even if it's your first time playing Starcraft, you'll enjoy figuring out the strategy to win each level,as I did. Two alien race levels give a different perspective than playing the human scenarios, for many more hours of playStarCraft Battle Chest.

Hoyle Card Games 2008 [OLD VERSION]

This is a pretty good game for the Mac; it's a card game, so you get pretty much what you expect. There is a nice selection of games, so you can switch around if you get tired of one. The downside to it is some of the cornball elements like cheesy characters that want to talk and give bad one liners during game play. Fortunately you can disable that. The graphics are also a little low grade, and the dealing of the cards is a little slow for my taste in some instances, like when playing spades or poker. Otherwise, a fun game and good distraction.

Logitech Dual Action Game Pad USB

The concept of a cheap USB controller is fantastic. The only thing that turns me off is the square-shaped analog stick socket(Compare to circular socket, or octagonal socket), which makes it difficult to move straight forward in First-Person perspective games.
