The "Tile Games" in this edition are a lot of fun. What's nice is there are several ways to play them. Our 19 year-old grandson enjoyed it so much, I had to order him one, too. What we liked the most was the "Slide Tiles." It's very addictive. Rummy Squares is also a good one. Any "Seniors" out there would enjoy this, but it's also fun for the teenagers. My recommendation is Go For It.!

My boys really enjoy this math game, however it seems pretty simple and they were able to finish the game relatively quickly. I think it is a good buy.

Civilization IV

Civ4 is pretty much the same thing as Civ3. Nothing but hype. Buy Civ3 and save money. The game is very addictive so be careful, you still have to go to work and school, the kids still have to be fed. Once you drop a Nuclear bomb the tiny map in the corner goes haywire, that sucks. As the game progresses it slows down. Oh and Aspyr does a bad job converting the game for Macintosh computers. A lot of the hints that pop up are obviously meant for Windows computers. I am no computer wiz, but installing it was a hassle, only because i didn't know that i had to copy the game files from the CD to my HD. The installation instructions said nothing about doing that.

Age Of Empires III

Age of Empires 3 is an awesome game with it's high-resolution graphics, new game-play, and deep story-line, but it IS NOT just a game. This is where spare time is meant to go. Microsoft has had some great ideas in the past, but the AoE series are honestly some of the best games I have ever played. This game will have you playing non-stop and I personally guarantee you will love every minute of it!

Logitech Dual Action Game Pad USB

The concept of a cheap USB controller is fantastic. The only thing that turns me off is the square-shaped analog stick socket(Compare to circular socket, or octagonal socket), which makes it difficult to move straight forward in First-Person perspective games.

WarCraft III Expansion: The Frozen Throne

I outgrow and get tired of games easily but Warcraft III Frozen Throne is the one game i still play since its original release. I can't tell you enough how fun this game is. I pretty much have all the good current games on current systems (PS3, 360, Wii) but i always come back to WC3. It's THAT good!

Reader Rabbit Learn to Read With Phonics

I tried 3-4 Reader Rabbit Programs. They are hard to use. The navigation is not good. It takes significant learning effort to get used to the programs. I work in Software from 10 years. If its difficult to navigate for me, the kids definitely will not be able to navigate freely. It will not allow you to skip something. If the kids are using the same thing again and again and They want to skip the things they are bored of they are out of luck. It will not allow skip. Apart from that the program is educational. Another negative: The program does not install on computer. Every time you need to put the CD in to run the program.

Instead of struggling with Reader Rabbit, I would highly recommend the Leapfrog Letter Factory and Math Circus. In fact ... Read More:

I Spy Funhouse

My children (4 and 7) love playing ISPY. It keeps them busy for hours. This title is fun - you solve "riddles" and earn tickets to play games in the Fun House. One thing I particularly like is that the game is good for readers and non-readers alike. The riddles are written at the bottom of the screen, and children can click on words they don't know and the program will read them aloud. This sort of evens the playing field for my kids, and they enjoy playing together and separately. A great pick.

Campaign mode:
Is the best of the game. The graphics are awesome, even
better of the own WoW.
The campaign explains to you many things of the warcraft universe.

Custom game:
One downside the 4 races may seem unbalanced.
You need experience in RTS games to win a match,
if you are new to RTS games, be ready for a lot of defeats.

Starcraft is one of the best RTSs ever. Still one of the highest played online games, even though it has been out for more than a decade. Well worth it.
