Honestly I've had the Twin Snakes for over 2 years and beaten it a couple times. I also have and beaten the original one on PSX atleast 5 times. With that said this version is very similar to the original game. The main differences that come to mind are that you can use 1st person view when shooting any gun. That alone makes the game much easier than the original. Another thing is that you have a silent tranquilizer gun like in MGS2. That can be pretty useful at times also. Last the graphics are very improved for the most part. They're just as good if not better than MGS2 or Snake Eater.
The only things that bother me though is that the cutscenes are a bit different. Also some of the voices are a bit off on a some of the characters. The ... Read More:
RE4 takes many of the best elements of multiple genres and combines them into a tense, compelling, addictive, challenging, and gratifyingly gory experience. I'm actually buying a Gamecube so I can play this game (own a PC and Xbox 360 currently) -- it's that good.
If you're not bothered by violence in your video games, then grab this one. It's masterfully made and could easily provide a hundred hours of gameplay if you get into the mini-games and special unlockables.
I've played a LOT of games on many consoles... trust me when I say that this is one of the select few that any gamer MUST experience! It's worth the investment to get a GameCube or PS2 if only to be able to play this game. ... Read More:

This game, though not quite as great as IV was, is still an extremely fun game to play.
Alright, I will get the bad stuff out of the way first because the good outweigh the bad by far. It's basically the storyline and characters that made this game weak. First off, we have Bartz, the Class S Retard and one of the stupidest line-sayers ever. For instance, after Cid said (loosely), "We certainly served that overgrown cray fish," Bartz immediately responds, "With some mashed potatoes and cheese biscuits!" Okay, what the hell does that have to do with cray fish? Anyway, then we have Lenna the Class A Naive Princess, Galuf the Class A Retard, Faris the Class A Insecure Female, and Krile the Class S Ditz. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE EVIL ... Read More:

It is a sort of shock to have Sonic, Sega's mascot, in any Nintendo platform. But you get used to it. I have a Wii, and thanks to the Wii's ability to play Gamecube's games, I saved a lot of money, compared to the cost of these games in the Virtual Console.
The games have all the flavor of the old consoles of Sega. They are fast, responsive, and fun. Way fun! As an old gamer myself, born and raised with the Atari, the NES and the Master System, I like old games. There is something simple about them: the important part was the player and not the game. In its time, I've never been able to finish a game, but that was not a fault of the game design or even myself as a gamer, but of the lack of time. Now, as a grown-up with a big moustache and my own business, ... Read More:

This game is fun, but the shipping is terrible. I paid for expadite shipping which should arrive from 1 - 3 days but got it 2 weeks later. I did not get a refund for the difference in shipping.

This is one awesome game! Definetly one of the best games of all time and quite possibly the best out of the FF series.
So, the ATB system is still up and active...um, running (sorry for the redundancy). So, yeah, since I love this system of play, the battle system rocks! Oh, and now you can switch from one player to another without having to take a turn. Sweet!
Final Fantasy is renown for its usually stellar storylines. This story is no exception, and it is also the most involved storyline because of its large and diverse playable cast. It starts out with the regular story of an oppressive empire that campaigns for world dominance. (This is the third time this has happened, and every FF game that has had this theme so far has been an even ... Read More:

Everything has become Star Wars at our house lately. My four year old even wears a glove so he can have a black hand. Hmmm. Cute game, not too violent, and at least as far as my sons are concerned- the best thing on earth. They quickly do chores, reading, homework, and sports practice to earn playing time.
