I have not had this much fun with a Nintendo DS game since I got Transformers: Autobots Ds game! HAHA! Anyway, this is a very good game. To start with, the graphics are amazing (for a DS game) there are huge enviremonts to roam freely in between missions. Envirements include a monstrous city, Hoover Dam, another small town, and the Desert in Quatar, which is unique to the Decepticons version( in the autobots game, instead of Quatar you get to go to the arctic). The game has a little over 20 missions, less than the autobots version, but a lot harder. This game has some very hard and irritating levels, but the game is still a blast. at the beginning of the game, you create your own character. Whenever you are in freeplay, you play as your ... I went from borrowing my son's 2007 version of this game to buying my own 2008. The game is very fun, involving various opponents and sets of cards, and retains playability for weeks via unlocking new opponents and downloadable content.
As far as differences on the new 2008 versus the old 2007, of course there are new cards. Also the 2007 format of having puzzle duals available are gone, instead there is a more interactive "Dual World" where you choose different roaming opponents on a map. As you defeat more opponents (usually 5 times per opponent) you unlock new maps/zones. CPU battles are still around, and exist separate from Dual World, though playing through Dual World will add new opponents to CPU battles.

This game was completely horrible. I would never recommend it to anyone. I should have looked into it before I bought it. DO NOT BUY!!

I enjoyed this game almost as much as the pc version, even though the graphics were not as good, because it was portable.
I purchased my copy used. An earlier reviewer mentioned that there were known problems with a three letter character name, I had used a three letter name.
It locked up a few times forcing me to restart it. Finally one day it locked up and wouldn't restart at all. I tried several times over the next month and finally gave up. Fortunately I had finished the campaign.
I have thought about buying another copy, thinking that maybe it was just the copy I had, but now I think I'll not buy another copy, just wait for the next version.

The graphics aren't 2008 type graphics, but the game is still good in my opinion. I've never played the first one, so I can't compare. One of the bad parts is that if you die in a dungeon, you lose EVERYTHING you have on you. So, stock up your storage with stuff you don't want to lose. However, if you do die, you don't lose your EXP as with other games. Your storage holds about 60 items and your on hand inventory holds about 20 items. You also get to hear Japanese dialogue when you enter a new town, so that's another plus. Well, buy it if you like dungeons. Don't buy it if you don't want constant dying.

I was a little critical when I researched this "Let's Yoga" game for Nintendo DS. I was thinking that it might be difficult to have this platform to handle this type of program especially for someone who has practiced yoga before, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone can benefit from this great tool: beginners can learn about yoga and see detailed position descriptions and advanced yogi(ni) can have the DS create random workouts in the desired length. Great tool!

I like this game it will make you want to play for hours and hours. You will get to the point that you want to beat it and won't give up. My ds had to be recharged to keep playing. My daughter was addicted also when she played it also. It's a great game.

This game is a blast and well worth the $15. Awesome 3D graphics, challenging but not ridiculously hard. The kids and I had to fight over it! Unfortunately, I beat the game after only having it for one week. I was disappointed because I thought there were more levels. There are only 4 main levels, each divided into 5 parts. The 5th part of each level is when you fight the boss. To the reviewer who thinks this game can't be beaten: yes it can. It's tricky, but you've got to stand right next to the big snowman to avoid his snowballs. Then as soon as he throws out a penguin, jump on it and use the leverage to jump onto the snowman. Even though it's a bit short, I still recommend this game to adults and kids who love Garfield!
