This is a perfect port of the PS2 version of the game. Everything comes to the PSP intact. There are some minor slowdown issues in places and the camera can often be a pain, but it is all worth it.

SOCOM: Tactical Strike

This game is the best, most challenging SOCOM game. I really enjoy working with 4 players instead of 2. It opens up options and makes completing objectives easier.

I really miss the finer level of control I had over the main character. For example, in previous versions of SOCOM, I could control when the sniper shoots. Sometimes I could hit targets that were farther off than recommended. In Tactical Strike, the computer takes the sniper shot. Sometimes the computer rejects shots that look possible.

Other than getting used to working with 4 players, my only other problems have been related to missions where both teams have to work at the same time. I haven't been able to find a solution to this dilema yet.

Warhammer 40k: Squad Command

This game is a pretty simplistic version of the WH40K game. It will certainly appeal to the fans of the game. Despite the game mechanics being fairly simple, the tactics you'll use to complete the missions are not. You are generally swamped by enemies who, mostly, aren't very smart, but occasionally do incredibly lethal things. Your troops are critical, and to lose even one can make the mission that much more difficult. An unseen enemy can round a corner, fire off a plasma cannon, and wipe out two of your Marines leaving you sitting there trying to think of exciting and colorful ways to express your dissatisfaction at how the events have unfolded.

I am pretty tech savvy, as is my boyfriend. We were excited to find this for sale since Nintendo doesn't seem to manufacture their own Wifi USB port for the Wii anymore.

After a ton of effort, we finally got the USB adapter to show up and were able to install the software. After another few hours our Wii started to recognize the port. Did it connect us to the internet/other users on our wii? NO! It continues to just say error. And since it's not an official Nintendo product, there was nothing that Nintendo tech support could help with. I haven't tried to use it for PSP or the IPOD touch, but it didn't work on my Nintendo DS either, so I don't know if we're doing something wrong or if our product is just faulty. Before you buy this game, you need to know one thing: this is basically the original Heroes, with a few things thrown in. If you already own the original Heroes, the only reason why you should buy this game is for the online play, which I will get too soon.

I've always been iffy about World War II shooters, because they always feel the same to me. Call of Duty on the PSP was an OK game, but never really lived up to the amazing impact of the previous games. I have to admit, at first this game came across to me as just another standard and tried-and-true shooter. I thought it would be cool to "re-live" the past and play some of these old titles. I was wrong. The games are not sized to the screen of the PSP and some are so small you can't even really see them.

This is an ok game to spend playing on an afternoon with nothing better to do. It has nothing really unique about it but it is cool running around as the Predator. There's a few things I didn't like about it. No jump button? Kinda irritating. Also, the fighting is a basic slish slash two hit combo that is frankly boring to watch after the first few times you see it. The different Pred views, (heat,alien, and mechanical) are completely useless. Plus, one of the big draws of the movie was the PredAlien. Not even hinted at. Doesn't exist in the game. And the whole game has but one boss fight, against a helicopter for that matter. Really, I found myself looking forward to the extremely short game to be over. Sonic Rivals 2

It's kind of fun to play at first. But after the first round though the whole game, it gets boring. Ever character's story has the same runway, no matter you choose Sonic or Shadow. The story plot isn't good as well, they started with this odd conversation and start running.
Overall the run is okay, singature moves are pretty interesting and disturbing.
But the plot and unchaning runway make the game unworthy for long time play but instead a short once in a while.
