For those people who grew up with the classic Atari games of Asteroids and Centipede, this one has it all and then some. There are also updated versions of the classic games, but I personally think nothing really beats the simple game versions of those days gone by.

I'm 40. I've just played the game for a couple of hours, but I'm addicted. Maybe it is too early to say, but until now the game is not repetitive at all. You have to use your brain to find solutions, and this is the best way a videogame can work.
On my PSP 2000 load times are not so terrible. It takes a few moments to get from the Barnett college to the adventures, but then there is no interruption while playing.
The only problem I've found is you cannot save the game whenever you want (or at least I haven't found a way). Scenes can take quite a while to complete, but you have to start them all over if you want to switch game while you are in the middle of a scene. Nonetheless, I strongly advise you to get the game. I'm so impressed ... Read More:

This collection has it all. Platformers, Brawlers, RPGs, Fighting, top down shooters, and some fantastic arcade games you probably never heard of.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - what can be said? its the signature sega franchise, and still a blast to play today.
Super Thunder Blade - early attempt at 3d in the vein of star fox
Sword of Vermilion - classic rpg goodness
VectorMan 1 and 2 - a great platformer/shooter
Alex Kidd - a surprisingly tough platformer
Altered Beast - a brawler where you take the forms of animals
Ecco + Tides of Time and Jr - great platformer/adventure series
Flicky - a fun little arcade game in the vein of Joust ... Read More:

I love the Burnout series of games, so this PSP version was a no-brainer. Great game. Great graphics and a bunch of different things to unlock. If you like the PS2 burnout games you will love this one for the hand held.
Tough to see a few shadowy turns is the only small complaint I have, but after a few runs, the courses are very memorable so its OK. Plus maybe my eyes are quite as sharp as they were. Grab it.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max is far and away the best fighting game for PSP, however's there's one huge caveat: it only recognizes Memory Stick Pro Duo cards that are 1GB or less. Here's Capcom's lame response, directly from their customer support site:
"Please only use a memory stick under 1 gig. The game came out before the advent of sticks capable of storing over 1 gig of memory and is unable to recognize memory sticks 1 gig and larger. This issue is prevalent in some older PSP games and not limited to just Street Fighter. There is no patch planned for this issue."
OK Capcom, so it's not YOUR fault, right? Shame on Sandisk for releasing Memory Stick Pro Duo cards larger than 1GB. How dare they? I'm sure Capcom could collaborate with ... Read More:

The game is fun, it's not too difficult, and the puzzles aren't complex but they still make you think. I've enjoyed the game a great deal, the detective/mystery aspect to it is good and intriguing, the action makes you jump a bit here and there in excitement, and the controls handle well enough. Camera views will give you trouble at times, especially when in close quarters combat with an enemy, you may not be able to see where or what you're swinging at, and suffer unnecessary damage in the meantime. Other than that small and common found problem in many games of this nature, it's a good solid fun game.

Lets put it this way there is the 'Official' and then the 'Custom' version of PSP... And the Official version sucks... If you have your PSP just sitting gathering dust and utterly hate it... Maybe you should add a CFW to it... Without CFW PSP is utter junk... Lets just put it this way... With CFW you can play SNES, NES, GBA, GB, GBC, Genesis, MAME and others on the PSP...
