Lives up to the Civilization standard! It's a great game and I guarantee you'll love your first victory in world domination - with whatever path you choose. Unlike previous Civilizations for the PC this one goes along with a faster pace and less customizations (basically no pre-game customizations); however, the multiplayer is far more engaging and easily accessible. This is a game you want in your collection, especially if you haven't played a Sid Meier game.

At this point, 466 reviews later, I can't really add too much that hasn't been already covered.

I'll just keep it simple: If you are into shooters, this may be a good game for you. It's got a unique take on a cover system -- arcadey but still useful. You certainly traverse a battlefield in a completely different manner than most games. You go from cover to cover, you try to get to the flanks whenever possible -- it really makes the battlefield environment feel three dimensional and real.

The graphics are pretty good, but there isn't alot of variety within a level. Honestly, that isn't too big of a deal as you'll be trying to spot cover and taking down enemies. There is a fair mix of cinematics and action, and while the ... Read More:

My neighbor and I enjoy playing co-op split screen first person shooters. We played R6V1 and felt it was very entertaining in its tactical gameplay. R6V2 gave us more of the same. There are few split screen co-op games out there for the XBox 360 but this is one that I would recommend. Not as much fun as Gears of War or Halo 3 but better than some of the others (Army of Two, Kane & Lynch). If you are looking for this type of gameplay (two player, split screen), then I would recommend GoW first, then Halo 3, then the Rainbox Six series. You may want to put R6V1 between GoW and Halo 3, not because it's a better game, but to mix it up a bit and not have two military FPS games in a row.

Most games I play I get Bored and Don't play all the way through. This game is NOT one of them. I great 3rd person shooter with some rpg elements. I was not a fan of biowares star wars knight of the old republic but this game had a appeal. (discover planets, not star wars) the only complaints about this game is half the planets you "discover" you can't land on them and explore, you just survey. Also i wish there was another way to do your abilties than hit the bumper and stop the action. other than that it is a awesome game, it's got great replay value. nudity, I see worst sex scenes primetime tv so big deal. Once again a game I've been looking foward to play and once again am left disappointed and ask 'Why?'.I'm not going to go in to a great deal of detail about the whole game.I will say the good parts first-fun killing Zombies in different ways,voice acting nicely done,great graphics and a large area to explore.

Now the bad-buttons are mapped incorrectly making it confusing and cumbersome to use.Random people calling you in a middle of a mission or when a bunch of Zombies are about to surround you and tear you apart.You run like one mile an hour at all times.Time and Map not correctly displayed.
